Saeed Amanpour is an associate professor of Geography and Urban Planning at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities, Shahid Chamran University, Ahvaz. In 2000, he received a master's degree in Geography and Urban Planning from the University of Tabriz, and in 2005, he received his doctoral degree from the University of Isfahan, and in the February of the same year, he started teaching at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. In 2013, he was promoted to an associate professor rank. His research interests include housing, urban decay (living on the outskirts), transportation, urban furniture, and statistical and regional topics.
