After being admitted in Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, international students can benefit from the accommodation provided for non-Iranian students. The university has 12 dormitory blocks to provide housing for female students, and 6 dormitory blocks for accommodation of male students. All bedrooms are equipped with amenities such as a bed, a refrigerator, and a cooling system. There are also tables and chairs for studying. Recently, the air conditioning system of the dormitories have been renewed, and the rooms are air conditioned all year long in hot and cold seasons.

To spend their leisure time, all non-Iranian students can use the dormitory TV halls or gyms. They can also have access to the Internet in their rooms through WiFi or fiber-optic connections.

Other amenities the students can use include dormitory catering centers, student market, student counseling center, library, computer halls, and commuting services.
