Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz in Baghdad International Book Fair

    The 24th Baghdad International Book Fair has been held on September 18, 2023 in Baghdad-Iraq for ten days. Different  publishing houses from sixteen  countries such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Syria, America, Jordan, UAE, Kuwait, Turkey and Saudi Arabia have participated in the event. A part of the exhibition was dedicated to the introduction of some of the most important universities of Iran under the title "Study in Iran". This idea was born due to the combined efforts of many parts such as the country's Student Affairs Organization and the cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq.

    Director of the International Scientific Cooperation Office of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz also attended the exhibition as the representative of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz and introduced the capacities and potentials of this university and the conditions for recruiting Iraqi students. Other Iranian universities that participated in this scientific and cultural event are as follows: Sharif University of Technology, University of Arts, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Tabriz University, Petroleum University of Technology, Bu-Ali Sina University in Hamedan, Ilam University of Medical Sciences, Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences and Mazandaran University.
