Law department was established in 1996 in the faculty of economics and social sciences. In that same year, this department started its academic career with B.A. students of law and after a 13-year experience with that course, in 2009, it embarked on B.A. students' admission in private law. Admissions of M.A. students in criminal law and criminology in 2016, M.A. students in public law in 2016, and finally M.A. students of judicial and penal reform management took place since 2009.
The main educational orientation of law department is towards civil law, trade law, public and private criminal law and constitutional law; the research orientation, however, is towards civil rights, civil responsibility, criminal law and finally constitutional law.
Law department welcomes students in B.A. courses, and also M.A. in private law,criminal law and criminology, public law and of judicial and penal reform management.
A professor, an associate professor, nine assistant professors, and an instructor are the faculty members of this department. Totally 275 students,192 undergraduates and 85 graduates, with different orientations are currently studying at the department.
