The Computer Engineering Department was established in 2004 at the Faculty of Engineering of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz (SCU). Among all departments at SCU, this department is one of the most active groups, advancing borders of teaching and research fields. The Computer Engineering Department includes more than 200 undergraduate students, providing computer system architecture and artificial intelligence. This department has a computation workplace and four technical laboratories for practical courses while the High Performance Computing (SCU-HPCC) provides professional services for internal and external requests. The research in this department has been done in two aspects of computer and multidisciplinary fields.
