Dr. Emam was born in 1959 in the city of Andimeshk. He was admitted to Jundishapur (currently Shahid Chamran) University in 1979 in English. In 1991, he graduated from Shiraz University with a master's degree in English language teaching. He also received his doctorate from Allameh Tabatabai University in Tehran. In addition to accomplishments in his field of specialization, Dr. Emam has also devoted his efforts mainly to issues related to translation as well as cultural issues, Iranian studies (also known as Iranology), Islamic studies, and research on Khuzestan. He has three books on written and oral translation published by Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz Publications. In the Research Week of 2013, he was selected and introduced as the top researcher of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz in the field of translation and authorship. In addition, he has translated or authored numerous articles in the fields of culture, art, history, literature, etc. that have been published in various national publications.
