Dr. Alam, currently a professor in the History Department of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, was born in Ahvaz in 1957. He received his bachelor's degree in history from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz and immediately after receiving a master's degree, he started teaching as a faculty member of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. In 2000, he managed to receive a doctorate degree in history from Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran. Since his employment in 1991, he has been teaching various courses in contemporary Iranian history to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students. Dr. Mohammad Reza Alam is the author of more than fifty articles and ten books on the contemporary history of Iran from the establishment of the Qajar dynasty to the Constitution and the Islamic Revolution.
