A new plant is discovered, identified and introduced to botanical sciences

Faculty Member of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Shahid Chamran University (SCU), said that following a student scientific research in Shimbar area of Andika, a plant was discovered for the first time in the world and introduced to botanical sciences.

Dr Mohammad Reza Parishani, in an interview with the Public Relations Office of SCU, added that this plant, called Tricholepis Khuzistanica Parishani, is an endemic plant in Shimbar area of Khuzestan province, and is seen only in a relatively small area.
