(Model Avance 400 MHz Manufactured by Bruker)

Fourier-transform NMR spectrometers use a pulse of radio frequency (RF) radiation to cause nuclei in a magnetic field to flip into the higher-energy alignment. All of the nuclei will re-emit RF radiation at their respective resonance frequencies.

The FT-NMR spectrometer AVANCE 400MHz (9.4 tesla) consists of three major components:

1- A superconducting magnet with the probe containing the sample to be measured.

2- A console containing all the electronics used for transmission and reception of radio frequency (RF) pulses through the preamplifier to the probe.

3- A computer by means of which the operator runs the experiments and processes the acquired NMR data.

It is manufactured by Bruker company. There are several probe associated with this instrument:

    - QNP                5mm            1H /19F / 31P / 13C

    - BBO                10mm     109Ag to 31P observe & 1H observe

    - BBO                5 mm      109Ag to 31P observe & 1H observe

    - BBI                  5mm      Inverse...109Ag to 31P observe & 1H observe-CP/MAS         4mm

This system is a Fourier transform (FT) spectrometer capable of one-, two-, and three-dimensional spectroscopy experiments on a wide range of nuclei.
